Recently I had the privilege of interviewing a friend of mine. Her name is Bregje and she is the owner and creative mind behind ‘Studio Spintol‘ here in the Netherlands. I thought her story was special. I pitched the idea to my friend Suzy Brown, who is the editor of ’tinyStudio Creative Life Magazine’. And she was totally on board with the idea.
So I spent a wonderful day with my friend and for the first time in my life I did an interview! And it was great. Bregje asked me if I had done a lot of interviews, and I had to be honest…No! I was having a true Pippi Longstocking moment and was just wingin’ it. Ofcourse I had prepared a nice list of questions for us to talk over. And Bregje had access to some great professional photographs, but she also taught me how to work the digital camera so we made a few more together.
The current (Nov/Dec 2025) issue of the magazine will be released later this week digitally and in physical print. I can’t wait to hold it in my hands and look at it for real. I’m so excited. And we both are very proud of our collaboration, because that is what this is: a true collab. Another thing to add to my creative tool belt. I’d love to be a roving reporter for The Lowlands. Who knows where this will lead me?
