I dyed this colorway last weekend, and it somehow reminded me of all the crocus flowers I see popping up so around town. One of the species of this delicate little flower produces the highly sought-after saffron threads: Crocus Sativus. The yarn will become a lovely lace weight two ply and the undyed fiber was Shetland in a really light grey hue.
